Review 6: Present of CG Animation

Find a recent short using CG/Animation and analyze why this film is meaningful for you.

I chose an animation of the classic speech by Carl Sagan titled: "The Pale Blue Dot".

The message of this talk has always been very powerful to me, and the animation on top of it adds a new level of ideas and visuals on top of it. It is a talk made to inspire us to join together as a species and take responsibility for this tiny piece of the universe we hold domain over. This was probably a challenging thing to animate, as it has a wide variety of subjects and concepts to convey in only a few minutes.

This is meaningful to me because it promotes peace and cooperation between all humans, and the animation only enforces that idea by visualizing the concepts that Carl Sagan speaks about.
